Sebastian Blackie is Professor of Ceramics, a senior researcher and PhD supervisor at the university of Derby UK. He is also a member of the University Court.
Blackie has taught, undertaken residencies and delivered conference papers internationally; most recently at FLICAM, Fu Ping, Shanxi in 2016. In 2017 he will deliver the key note to the Ceramic Researchers Association of Nigeria at Ahmadu Bello University and a paper on Peace and Reconciliation to the Egi people of River State Nigeria.
